MSDS Master provides the ability to manage both vendor (inbound) and customer (outbound) MSDS’s in a single database. By incorporating an image and free-format text capability, all methods of creating and storing MSDS’s can be accommodated.

Format Flexibility for Authoring
The free-form format design maintains the contents and section layout of your inbound MSDS’s as received. At the same time, you can design your own formats for outbound MSDS’s. Through the use of templates, you can easily enforce a standard for your own organization. MSDS Master supports any format, including ANSI Standard, Canadian WHMIS and European Union.

Windows Editing Features
These features include the ability to view the image on your screen, zoom and page to desired sections of the MSDS, and print. Should you wish to prepare shortened versions of the image, or to integrate a portion of an MSDS image into a word processing document, the Cut and Paste functions also apply. Additional editing functions allow you to add system fields and standard phrases.

Extensive Archiving
To maintain the appropriate audit trail, you can log MSDS’s as:
bulletIn Work - Indicates a copy of an MSDS that is currently being created or changed.
bulletActive - Indicates an MSDS that is approved for general access.
bulletHistory - Indicates an older version that is available on line.
bulletPurged - Indicates an MSDS that has been moved to a backup disk or tape to save space, and is logged by volume name for retrieval if required.

Comprehensive Indexes and Multiple Languages
An unlimited number of user defined indexes are provided for organizing and retrieving your imaged and text MSDS’s. Likewise, multiple country and language capabilities may be stored in the same database.

Right-To-Know Compliance
Screens are provided for emergency services contacts, such as fire and security that must be called in the event of an emergency. These contacts can be defined by facility or user so that remote users have access to their own emergency information.
